Friends members support the idea that a library is a most valuable community asset that needs nourishment and support above its set budget. They believe in the value of books and reading, regard a library as an impartial, reliable information center, and look upon it as a dynamic agency for the education of both youth and adults. 

The Friends group is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds to benefit the library through our bookstore in the Main Library, book sales and memberships.
